Is Campus Collective only for BU students?

We're launching at Boston University in January 2026, then expanding nationwide. Join the waitlist to bring us to your school!

How much does Campus Collective cost?

Campus Collective is completely free to join for both vendors and members. We charge a small, transparent service fee only on completed bookings to keep the platform running and secure.

How do vendors get paid?

Payments are processed securely through Stripe and held in escrow until the service is completed. Once the member confirms completion, funds are automatically released to your account within 2-3 business days.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and digital wallets through our secure Stripe integration. All payment information is encrypted and never stored on our servers.

Can I get a refund if I'm not satisfied?

Yes. If a service isn't completed as agreed, you can request a refund through our dispute resolution process. Our support team will review the case and mediate a fair resolution for both parties.

Is there a minimum payout amount for vendors?

Vendors can cash out their earnings once they reach $20 in completed bookings. There are no maximum limits — withdraw your earnings as often as you'd like.

Platform Features

What categories are available on Campus Collective?

We offer four main categories: Beauty 💅 (nails, hair, makeup, skincare), Fitness 💪 (personal training, yoga, group classes), Academic 📚 (tutoring, editing, study groups), and Lifestyle 🏡 (photography, moving help, organizing, cooking). New categories are added based on student demand.

How do I become a Campus Collective Ambassador?

Click the 'Become an Ambassador' button and fill out the application. Ambassadors help us launch at their school, host pop-ups, recruit vendors, and build community. Perks include early access, leadership experience, merch, and resume-building opportunities!

How does the Leaderboard work?

Vendors earn points for every completed booking, five-star review, and repeat client. Points accumulate throughout the semester, and top performers are featured in the Campus Spotlight. The leaderboard resets each semester to give everyone a fresh start.

What are vendor status badges?

Vendors progress through three status levels: Rising Vendor (0-10 bookings), Active Vendor (11-50 bookings), and Top Vendor (51+ bookings). Each level increases your visibility and builds trust with potential clients.

Can I chat with vendors before booking?

Yes! Use our built-in messaging feature to ask questions, confirm details, or discuss customization before committing to a booking. All conversations are private and secure within the app. Ratings and reviews help keep everyone accountable.

Can I be both a member and a vendor?

Absolutely! Many students book services and offer their own. You can switch between roles seamlessly in the app.

How do I become a Top Vendor?

Complete at least 51 bookings with high ratings and maintain a 4.5+ star average. Top Vendors get priority placement in search results, Campus Spotlight features, and special badges on their profiles.

Safety & Support

Is Campus Collective safe to use?

Yes. All users are verified with university email addresses. Payments are held in escrow, and we have a comprehensive reporting system for inappropriate behavior. Your safety is our top priority.

How do I create a vendor listing?

Simply sign up, complete your vendor profile, and create your first listing. Add photos, write a description, set your price, and configure your availability. Your listing goes live immediately after approval.

Can I offer multiple services as a vendor?

Absolutely! Create as many listings as you want across different categories. For example, you can offer both tutoring services and graphic design work — all from one vendor profile.

How does booking work?

Browse services, select a vendor, pick an available time slot from their calendar, and pay securely through the app. You'll receive instant confirmation and can chat with the vendor to coordinate details.

What if a vendor cancels my booking?

If a vendor cancels, you'll receive an immediate full refund. Vendors who frequently cancel may lose their status and visibility on the platform. We take reliability seriously.

Can I leave reviews for vendors?

Yes, and we encourage it! After each completed booking, you can rate your experience and leave a written review. Honest feedback helps other students make informed decisions and helps vendors improve their services.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes! Campus Collective is available on both iOS and Android. Manage your listings, bookings, messages, and payments on the go with full mobile functionality.

How do I report inappropriate behavior?

Use the report button on any user profile or conversation. Our support team reviews all reports within 24 hours and takes appropriate action, including warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans.
